| The PRESTO consortium is set up to build a complete value for real time embedded systems development process supporting technologies in Europe with: |

Two (2) big industrial companies, namely THALES Communication France and THALES Italy, providing use case applications (High Data Rate and ad-hoc mobile embedded system and indoor positioning radio unit based on Ultra Wide Band technology respectively) from the design to the trace generation, working on the execution on boards and making comparison with NFP analysis from hardware modeling. |

Eight (8) SMEs including Rapita Systems, Softeam, MetaCase, Pragmadev and Prismtech as tool providers that will extend their tools in order to provide the means for properly allocating system components in software and hardware, MILTECH providing use case application (ATE for on board communications) and hardware modelling capabilities, TELETEL providing test traces generation and modelling capabilities and Sarokal providing platform modelling, results synthesis and validation capabilities. |

Two (2) research centers, namely VTT and INRIA, with significant expertise in platform modelling, Software/Hardware allocation modeling and test results analysis. |
